Learning Technologies for the Classroom
Learning Technologies for the Classroom

ABOUT THIS COURSE

Learning Technologies for the Classroom is a teacher development course designed for teachers who have little experience in using technologies in their teaching.

It introduces teachers to basic learning technologies that can be used in the English language classroom in an efficient, engaging and effective way. The course takes into account different situations teachers find themselves in, both where technology is only available outside the classroom and where the classroom is well-resourced with IT.

Modules cover a range of web technologies, with topics including using the internet, cyber well-being for learners, using MS Office applications, online video and audio, social networking and other web technologies for educational purposes. It includes links and video demonstrations about the technologies involved as well as a wide range of practical ideas and web resources that teachers can directly use with their learners.

The course lasts 12 weeks.

Level of English required: B1+
