Communicating EU accession and IPA assistance in Montenegro
Launching of the project:
British Council would like to invite you, on behalf of the project partners, to the official launching of the "Communicating EU accession and IPA assistance in Montenegro" project on Monday, 15th December 2014 at 12.00 p.m. at the EU Info Centre.
This project is co-funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro (DEU), British Embassy Podgorica and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) and managed by the British Council.
The project’s objective is to support the implementation of the "Strategy for Informing the Public about the European Union and Membership Preparations 2014-2018" developed and launched by the MFAEI earlier this year.
The project is comprised of two main components: 1) an intensive public campaign which aims enhance MFAEI’s informative communication with the public through an improved online and media presence and 2) a capacity building programme for government PR officials, heads of working groups and journalists, aiming to develop the skills for strategic media relations and institutional PR and introduce a coherent set of communication standards across government departments. The duration of the project is 18 months.
The content, aims and objectives of the project, as well as cooperation of the partnering institution, will be presented more closely by the guest speakers at the launching presentation.
